Dr. Summer Andersen

Dr. Summer Andersen

Veterinarian

Summer Andersen, DVM, a native of Gainesville, serves as the Medical Director at Animal Medical Center (AMC). She began her educational journey at the University of Georgia, earning her bachelora€™s degree before pursuing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) at Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2011. With a strong focus on providing high-quality care, Dr. Andersen brings expertise in acupuncture, internal medicine, and surgery. As Medical Director, she is dedicated to leading her team in delivering compassionate, comprehensive veterinary services. Outside of work, Dr. Andersen enjoys time with her wife, their nine dogs, and her horse. She spends her free time riding, relaxing at the barn, or enjoying the lake with family and friends.
Dr. Rachel Weaver

Dr. Rachel Weaver

Veterinarian

Dr. Rachel Weaver graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2021. During her time in vet school, she was part of the Phi Zeta honor society and graduated Summa Cum Laude. While in vet school, Dr. Weaver did an externship at Animal Medical Care where she was able to learn from the famous Dr. Funk and Dr. Potter. She is so excited to be back!

Prior to vet school, Dr. Weaver attended Mercer University in Macon, Georgia where she obtained a B.S. in biology. There she met her husband, Alan Kattelmann, who is from Gainesville. In their spare time, they enjoy going out with their friends and relaxing with their 3 dogs Ally, Huey, and Tillie. Dr. Weaver is obsessed with corgis!

Dr. Weaver is certified in fear free practice. Her special interests include internal medicine, neurology, and preventative medicine.

Dr. Megan Nunnally

Veterinarian

Dr. Megan Nunnally earned her Animal Science degree and DVM from the University of Georgia, graduating in 2020. She began her career in a rural Iowa mixed-animal clinic, gaining extensive experience in small animal medicine and surgery, equine dentistry, and livestock care. After four years, she and her husband, Ethan—also a veterinarian—returned to Georgia to be closer to family.

Dr. Nunnally has a passion for surgery, internal medicine, and preventative care. She shares her life with Sid, a three-legged indoor cat; Blooper and Charley, her barn cats; and Sage, her Quarter Horse. In her free time, she enjoys horseback riding, hiking, gardening, and spending time with loved ones.

Dr. Linda Ingle

Veterinarian

Dr. Linda Ingle, DVM, is a Gainesville native with deep roots in the veterinary community. Inspired early on by her father, a large animal veterinarian, Dr. Ingle pursued her own path in animal care. She graduated from the University of North Georgia in 1992 and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. With a special interest in internal medicine and physical therapy, Dr. Ingle is dedicated to helping her patients achieve optimal health and quality of life through thoughtful, individualized care. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Ingle enjoys horseback riding, playing softball, and spending time on the water. Whether on land or lake, she values staying active and connected to the outdoors.

Practice Manager

Pam embarked on her career in Veterinary Medicine in 2002, with a gentle nudge of encouragement from her father, who played an instrumental role in guiding her toward a fulfilling profession. She began as a kennel assistant and gradually advanced to the role of Veterinarian Assistant through hands-on, work-based training. Over the years, Pam also served as a Customer Service Representative, which enriched her experience and helped shape her leadership abilities. These diverse roles paved the way for her leadership journey within the veterinary field.

With 22 years of experience, Pam has built a strong foundation in both emergency medicine and general practice, fostering meaningful professional relationships that continue to hold special value to her. She brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her role at Animal Medical Care, where she shares her expertise with the staff and works to cultivate a positive and collaborative work culture.

Outside of her professional life, Pam enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, including hunting and fishing. She also cherishes time spent with her daughters and wife. Pam attributes her career success to the unwavering support of her parents, who instilled in her the belief that hard work truly pays off.

Laurie has been grooming pets for over 10 years and is truly passionate about making them look fabulous! She treats every animal that she grooms like her own and goes out of her way to make them feel safe and loved. When she is not here making your pets beautiful, she is reading, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family.
