Leadership

Lindsey Santiago

Lindsey Santiago

Practice Manager

Lindsey first started at Animal Medical Care as a kennel technician while still in high school, way back when AMC (Animal Medical Care) was still in the old little brick building that Dr. Sundstrom started up! She continued working here through graduating from high school and the current building being built, moving up to being a veterinary technician. Lindsey left AMC shortly after the new building finished to pursue other things in life. Almost 9 years ago, Lindsey decided she missed working in this field and made her way right back to us. Coming back in as a CSR, she has worked in every area of the hospital, from kennel to vet tech to surgery tech, and finally decided to jump headfirst into the role of Practice Manager. Since she has been back with us, Lindsey has developed long-lasting relationships with our clients and considers many of them her friends.

Lindsey’s family includes her husband Rafael, 3 children, and two cats. Since her husband is from Puerto Rico, they really enjoy taking yearly trips back there to enjoy the culture, scenery, and, most of all, the food!! Family and friends are what is most important to her, along with her love for music.

Candice Eames

Candice Eames

Assistant Practice Manager

Candice started at Animal Medical Care in 2013. She has been in the veterinary industry since 2009 and has worked primarily as a technician and receptionist. While she has been back and forth so that she could be home with her kids when they were younger, she joined AMC again three months ago full time and has recently jumped into the role of assistant manager. She has built so many relationships with our clients over the years that she values greatly. Candice loves animals of every kind…..won’t even kill a spider!

Candice’s family includes her fiance’ Robert, 2 children, 2 dogs, 2 pot belly pigs, 1 cat and 1 horse. She enjoys horseback riding, going to the beach, and making memories with her family.
