Animal Medical Care (AMC) is committed to providing you, your pet, in the Gainesville and surrounding counties with high-quality veterinary care and service. Dr. Summer Andersen is our Medical Director and is involved in all of the day-to-day interactions with AMC’s clients & patients. She is dedicated to the absolute best care for all our patients and continues to make sure the clinic operates to AAHA standards. Clients can expect personalized service, and their pets can expect fear-free veterinary care.
Animal Medical Care was founded in 1967 by Dr. John Sundstrom, a longtime mentor to both Dr. Funk and Dr. Potter. Although all 3 of these DVMs have since retired, their vision of AMC as a client-focused business that also gives back to the Gainesville and surrounding counties is alive and well. AMC has grown and adapted to meet the expanding needs of this wonderful community, but it remains true to it’s roots and loyal clients and their families.
